After several postponements, it was in August 2021 that our two sunny lovers said “I do” and realized their dream of an exotic wedding at Château de Garde in Bordeaux. Both from Bordeaux, they wanted to delegate the organization and design of their day.

Wedding planning & styling
After preparations at the château with close friends, the couple said yes in the church of a charming French village nearby. Then, after a photo session in the Palmeraie – the château’s patio – the cocktail party got underway with culinary workshops and a live band to enjoy the Château de Garde‘s lovely park. Dinner was served in the stone hall, followed by a fireworks display. Then it was time for the lovers to get into the party with DJ Soulex.
We played on notes of deep green with exotic foliage, white flowers like orchids and carnations, and citrus and coconut. Plants were added here and there to complement the banana and palm trees present on site.
For the rest, we played with chic black and white, with modern furniture designs, photobooth backdrops and signage. We used large white candles for a modern look, transparent and black photophores, and elegant lighting throughout the room. Rattan furniture and ecru cushions support the exotic style, as do white and twine fabrics and tablecloths. The decor was imagined in consultation with the bride and groom, who were very committed to the project, and in harmony with the venue.
Our lovebirds enjoyed their wonderful exotic wedding at Château de Garde in Bordeaux, and much more, with a rehearsal dinner the night before as a “white party” and Creole dinner, and a brunch around the pool the next day, before flying straight off to their mini-moon.
